Artsy Addicts Technique Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

Please excuse me for an unfinished product in this technique blog hop.  I apologize as I have been super busy working on a huge project that I will reveal after the weekend.  My technique is using alcohol inks and domino tiles to create a mini album.  I used 2 different colors of alcohol ink, 1 mixative alcohol ink and the alcohol blending solution with the blending tool.  First I added the 2 colors and mixative with the alcohol blending solution to blending tool and then just dabbed all around the domino tile to get the effect that I want.  Once the domino tiles are dried completely, I adhered them to a 2" x 12" strip of cardstock that is scored at every 1" interval.  From there you can design your mini album with pictures or even letters to make up a word and use it as a sign on your desk.  Attached is the link to the quick tutorial video.  I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and thank you for visiting. Technique Blog Hop Video

ATC Metal Swap - Artsy Addicts

Hello Everyone,

This is a swap that was organized by KARLAS001 through the Artsy Addicts group.  We were asked to make an ATC with absolutely no paper and we must use metal in our project.  Let me tell you that it was definitely a challenge for me as I am number one, not an ATC girl and then to tell me that I cannot use paper really set me back as I am a true paper girl.  I went into my LSS (Treasure Memories) and with the help of one of the owners (Thanks KC) I was taught how to use the Ten Second Studio line.  What an amazing product!!!!  Once I saw the template I was sold on my idea.  I hope you like it.  The name of my ATC is "Time for Love".  The following are the products that were used to make this swap:

1.  Ten Second Studio Clock Template
2.  Ten Second Studio Metal Sheets (pink and black)
3.  Maya Road Mini Roses Ribbon
4.  Maya Road Mini Tags
5.  American Craft "Valentine" Ribbon
6.  Recollections Butterflies
7.  Bottle Cap Company mini bottle caps
8.  Heart Charm
9.  Tim Holtz Jump Ring
10.  American Craft Slick Writer Markers

Enjoy!
